The joy of creating

Breathtaking floristry comes from the heart, and this quote from Rumi summarizes the joy of truly connecting to creative work, perfectly.  Every day that I work with flowers, another quiet part of myself opens up and is healed. Flowers are such amazing aspects of nature, all unique in their detail, shape and colour and working with them is a true JOY. The most amazing part of my job is in discovery; new varieties, new colourways, new combinations of texture, colour and scent. I am SO looking forward to teaching more of you this year!

Christmas workshops with Sophie

A truly STUNNING set of wreaths were produced in December 2017 as we launched our Christmas Wreath workshops on site in our lovely workshop at The Walled Nursery. The heaters were turned on early, and our friend Genny (who grows a beautiful selection of cutting flowers in Sandhurst) delivered a fresh Victoria Sponge. Teas, coffees (& Bucks Fizz on the last day) - fuelled the morning and Sophie demonstrated how to make a bespoke wreath into floral foam.

The atmosphere was buzzing as the wreaths were built from scratch, each person surprised at their own creativity and how amazing they looked at the end of the day.

We are so looking forward to announcing our next course dates for the Spring. You're all such a joy to teach!

Seasonal Flowers - Autumn

Autumn is fast approaching,  one of the most beautiful seasons with the celebration of harvest and halloween featuring. 

To celebrate the turn of the seasons which is shortly approaching we wanted to share these autumn inspired bouquets and table centres we have created. Surrounding ourselves with the natural rustic colour pallet of golden oranges, burgundy reds and rich browns into our floral designs.
